After a long hiatus singing, laughter and all-around good
cheer returned to the Post with Karaoke Night on April 17. The joint was indeed jumping as they say with
the bar area filled to capacity.
Brave singers went up solo and the shyer ones went up in groups, but no matter how they did it everyone had a good time singing Motown and Bebop classics and some more modern 80s R&B hits. The karaoke was courtesy of VFW member Eric Bryant. Music was provided by DJ SK2 of Oh My Stars Productions and food was provided by The Traveling Veteran.
"This is a great way to build community and camaraderie here at the Post,” said Commander Tim Ibarra. "We are looking to do this as a recurring event and we might even take it into the tank area for more room.”
So, start compiling your list of favorite songs to sing and
